Edwardian Renovation - Bathroom
The owners were passionately involved in every aspect of the design, and pushed the team to make choices they normally might not have, including using Western red cedar for the master bathroom countertop. The spa-like space features a soaking tub, tile from Statements Urban, an MTI sink, a custom mirror, and a Vola faucet.
A UFO bathtub by Benedini Associati for Agape lends an alien touch to one of the master bathrooms.

In the master bathroom, the couple traded an outdated tile tub for the BOV 02 from Wetstyle and added fixtures, towel bars, and hooks from Vola. The hallway, which retains its original black granite floor, leads past paneled walls to a deck.

The master bathroom is complete with a honed statuary F Italian white marble slab countertop, shower wall and floor. The honed white Corian tub is by Hydro Systems.

In the bathroom they replaced the tub with a wet room--an open shower without curtains or doors--though a wing wall keeps water from splashing out. For tiling, they picked a tiny copper ceramic mosaic tile for the floor, shower curb and base, and a creamy white elongated tile for the walls.
